Daimler Posts Group EBIT Of EUR 1.9 Billion In Third Quarter Of 2007 |

For those of you with a vested financial interest in the newly-named
Daimler, the company today has published its interim report on the third
quarter of 2007. As a whole, Daimler managed to achieve EBIT of EUR 1,891
million in the third quarter of this year, up from the EUR 1,823 million
achieved in third quarter 2006. This increase comes primarily as a result
of the positive developments at Mercedes-Benz Cars, with the division
raising its EBIT from EUR 850 million in the Q3 2006 to EUR 1,331 million
