Dieter Zetsche Shares His Thoughts On The Mercedes Car Group |

Taking a break from his company's new model introductions today, DaimlerChrysler AG CEO Dieter Zetsche took a moment to address the international media representatives in regards to the current state of the Mercedes Car Group. After expressing his satisfaction with the development of the luxury division, Zetsche had this to say on the topic: 'We have worked hard and achieved a great deal – and now we are reaping the benefits.' He continued: 'Both efficiency and quality have improved in equal measure, as our customers are acknowledging. From January to August 2006 our worldwide unit sales increased by around eleven percent compared to the same period last year...'
