introduction today of a model diesel lovers across Europe will undoubtedly
take great delight in: the S 420 CDI. Yes, the wait is finally over for
Mercedes' flagship diesel V8-powered luxury sedan. Powered by a state-of-
the-art V8 CDI engine developing 235 kW/320 hp and and 730 newton meters
of peak torque, the S 420 CDI is capable of accelerating from 0-100 km/h
in just 6.6 seconds and reaching an electronically-governed top speed of
250 km/h, all while consuming between 9.4 to 9.6 liters of diesel per 100
kilometers. With a fuel tank capacity of 90 liters, this translates into
