It's Official: Mercedes Unveils The 457 Horsepower C63 AMG |

You know, it figures my day off is the day Mercedes unveils to the world
their highly-anticipated AMG variant of the 2008 C-Class, but as luck
would have it, that's exactly what happened. Taking a break from the
family's 4th of July festivities, I took a moment to check my email, and
lo and behold, flooding my inbox is tips from numerous readers letting me
know the C63 AMG has been released. So ladies and gentlemen, in case you
missed it, Mercedes today has premiered the new C63 AMG. Boasting AMG's
6.3 Liter (technically 6.2-Liter) V8, the C63 outputs exactly 457
horsepower - not quite as spectacular as the 500 horsepower we were all
hoping for but still impressive, nonetheless. As a result, the C63 is
capable of accelerating from 0-62 mph in a mere 4.5 seconds, achieving an
electronically limited top speed of 155 mph, and looking absolutely
