Those of you questioning the validity of smart's fuel consumption claims
can breathe a deep sigh of relief, thanks the to Italian magazine
'Quattroruote.' On a recent 1,000 kilometer journey from Rome to
Salzburgon, the publication found that the diesel smart was capable of
achieving its remarkable stated consumption of just 3.3 liters per 100
kilometers (that's a touch over 71 mpg for my American readers), with the
